IPF GL constants: IPF, March 2020. DOTS coefficients as published.

What the scores mean

Both scores divide your result by a curve fitted to bodyweight, so lifters of different sizes can be compared.

  • DOTS: 500 / (a + b x bw + c x bw² + d x bw³ + e x bw⁴) x total, with separate coefficients for men and women.
  • IPF GL: 100 / (A minus B x e^(minus C x bw)) x result, with separate constants for men and women, classic and equipped, powerlifting and bench press. The IPF uses GL points to rank lifters.

Bodyweight and lifts are in kilograms (we convert pounds for you).
